Salad in a Jar

Up your jar salad game with these 2 variations of goats’ cheese salad . Easy to prep for a busy week ahead! Choose from Salmon or Italian style salad.

What you'll need

Italian salad:

  • 50g Delamere Dairy goat cheese pearls natural or honey
  • Black olives without pit
  • Slices of Parma ham
  • 50g Pasta
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Rocket salad leaves
  • 1.5 tbsp Green pesto
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp White wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper

Salmon salad:

How to make it...

Italian salad (front of picture):

Cook the pasta as indicated on the package and let it cool down.

To make the dressing; mix together the pesto, olive oil and white wine vinegar, season with salt and pepper.

Pour the dressing into the mason jar.

Layer the ingredients in the jar; the halved tomatoes, the black olives and the cooled pasta. Then add in the slices of parma ham. Sprinkle the goat cheese pearls over the top. Then fill the jar with rocket salad leaves.

Salmon Salad:

As above but replace the pasta with quinoa (cook as indicated on the pack and allow to cool).

Use your favourite salad dressing and sliced radishes, cucumber and smoked salmon. (instead of tomato, olives and parma ham). Add rest of ingredients as above.

To serve, empty contents of jar into a bowl and mix together well.
