Scotty's eczema cleared

When our son Scotty was weaned onto solids and cows milk at about 5 months he started to get little rashes around his elbow creases. It nastily spread to the back of his knees, tummy and back, and seemed to dry his skin. Our Doctor gave him skin condition creams, some with steroids, and bath oils, which helped moisturise his skin but the eczema did not stop.

We were then tipped off that Goats milk is very low in lactose and is very similar to our own milk proteins, (in fact in Israel they take new-born orphans and give them goats milk straight away) So our own bodies can therefore process it much more easily.

So we tried out goats milk with Scotty. Within two weeks, his skin was clear of fresh eczema and within three it was clear skin. We were very relieved and have kept supplying him with goats milk for the last 4 years. It has not returned. He can now take cows milk in small doses but much prefers goats milk.

Thanks for this fantastic story Fiona and  Scotty. We're delighted that we can help with your eczema. If you know of anybody who benefits from using Delamere Dairy products, or you just love them, let us know by emailing  [email protected]

It may not work for all eczema sufferers but it has certainly worked for us and for others we recommended it to.

So thank you to Delemere for making this product widely available (and in our experience above its competitors for lasting 'best by' dates)
