Michael Hastings from the Isle of Islay, off the west coast of Scotland sent us details of a great game he plays using empty goats' milk cartons. He calls it the 'Leaping Goats Game' and models it on 'Leap Frogs'.
'We play it like leaping frogs and try to get the goats over the fence and into the green, green grass, rather than the pond.' says Michael.
Take the ring pull from the spout of the carton and draw a goat's face on the bottom of the ring pull (the side that would come into contact with the milk in the carton before you open it.) Cut the carton about a third of the way up from the bottom so you have a cube shaped vessel with an opening at the top.
Then put the ring pull with the goat facing upwards on a table and use your finger to propel the ring pull towards the empty carton, over the gate and into the green, green grass.
Have a look at the photo which will give you a visual idea of what you need to do. The idea is to get as many goats' into the field as possible. Have fun!!
