My daughter Cristina has had eczema since she was about 3 months old and I have been prescribed various steroid based creams to try and help it. At one point it was so bad, she had to be put on antibiotics for a week. When my second child, Isabel turned 1, we naturally put her onto cow's milk and within days, she developed eczema (she had shown no signs before). We decided that after all we had been through with Cristina and the various creams (which I don't like having to put on her as her skin is now white in places), we would put them both on goat's milk. Isabel's small patches of eczema disappeared straight away and Cristina's has dramatically improved.

It is a shame that doctors are much more willing to prescribe creams for children rather than suggest dietary changes considering 20% of children in this country have eczema. My husband is Spanish and we have a lot of Italian friends and goats products are "the norm" in these countries. Consider goats’ milk, a relief from eczema, instead of taking medications that might not give you the desired results.
